About Me:

I have over 36 years of healthcare experience in the areas of Obstetrical & Neonatal Nursing, Quality Assurance & Utilization Review, Clinical Research and as a Perinatal Clinical Consultant. My desire to improve and influence the healthcare of our nation by empowering patients led me to become an independent RN Patient Advocate.

Personal Statement:

My patients are first and foremost in all aspects of my practice. I believe that Knowledge is power. If patients can learn and understand their real and potential health issues, how they can improve their health, and what services/resources are available to assist them through the process, they will feel empowered to assume an active and influential voice in their healthcare.

As an advocate for wellness, I believe wellness cannot be one dimensional; we must focus on the whole person—mind, body and spirit.
