Northern community more prone to ALS, MS?

Research has uncovered that people in certain states in America appear to be more likely than others to develop devastating neurological diseases such as “Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS) and MS. The studies indicate that diagnoses of both ALS and MS are more prevalent in the north of the country, with those in the likes of Florida and Hawaii far less likely to be diagnosed than those in, for example, Washington or Minnesota. If you live in a northern state and are concerned, please ask your physician and perhaps show her/him the article.
