Health Education and Advocacy Leaders, Inc., is a foundation dedicated to providing non-commercial, leading edge health information to our communities.

The National Assessment of Adult Literacy (NAAL) measures the health literacy of adults living in the United States. Only 12% of the population has a proficient health literacy level.

We at HEAL, Inc., provide community information programs to teach Health Care and Maintenance, Disease Prevention, Health Protection, and Health Promotion along with Preventive Measure.

These programs are presented in many national centers by independent RN Patient Advocates (iRNPAs), highly skilled clinical RNs who have completed the nation’s leading course in RN Patient Advocacy produced by RN Patient Advocates, PLLC, in partnership with the University of Arizona College of Nursing.

Your generous contribution will fund the expanding library of HEAL, Inc., presentations such as:

1. Health Advocacy Today:  Why and How To Be Your Own Health Advocate

2. Emerging Trends in Medical Therapies – Changing the Face of Health Care Today

3. Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements:  What You Really Need to Know – the scientific basis for your wise choices: a three part series

4. Depression:  Understanding the Underlying Causes and New Therapeutic Approaches

5. Cholesterol:  The Real Story – Science Explains Your Actual Risk

6. Gluten?  What Is the Issue and Do You Need to Avoid It? What Does a Gluten Free Diet Look Like?
